Localisation's strategy of Starbucks is to blend into Hong Kong's local street.
Sai Yee Street is one of the local street that still keep the culture of Hong Kong with its dense population and structure of the building. Yet, it is located in one of the trend leading area in Hong Kong, Mong Kok.
Starbucks invited G.O.D ( a local home furnishing store in HK) & one of the most popular Hong Kong local artist 又一山人黃炳培 to design the 6000 ft, 2 floors Starbucks concept store. They decorated the place with a wide settings which provide comfort to the customers, and also decorated the store with Hong Kong local stories on the wall.
香港是一個中西文化薈萃的國際大都會，也是一個讓傳統與現代文化得以結合的城市。作為潮流文化集中地的旺角，同時亦保留著不少傳統文化遺產，與屬於香港人的生活回憶。
身處於繁忙、人口密集的洗衣街，星巴克洗衣街分店座落於一個靈活多變、充滿新文化試點與潮流的中心。香港星巴克致力透過洗衣街分店推廣本地文化，增強與顧客的緊密連繫。
星巴克洗衣街分店的靈感，是為了慶祝香港的藝術精神。為推動本地文化藝術，香港星巴克特別邀請了本地生活品牌住好啲(G.O.D.)及著名藝術家又一山人(黃炳培)為樓高兩層、面積達6,000平方尺的星巴克洗衣街分店設計，為顧客提供獨特及舒適的環境；此外，店內更以香港人街頭生活照片作裝飾，展示他們的日常故事。
作為本土文化藝術重要的一環，香港電影亦成為星巴克洗衣街分店的重要元素。店內設有一個小型電影放映室，並首度與康樂及文化事務署香港電影資料館合作，將其早前在資料館舉辦的《時間巨輪—光影香江百年情》，在分店再次展出一年；除展覽外並定期舉辦分享講座，免費開放公眾參與，成為一個獨特的文化交流平台。
