| 15 Sep 2012 We were all surprise by the early coming of autumn breeze in HK. Brighten up my way to work and a series of private sorrow. Here comes Miss Autumn Lilly Piri, Brisbane born artist. Her colour pencil works are sweet & soft & yet not too soft with vintage stroke outline. Influence by Art Nouveau which promote decorative art with natural forms & structures, Lilly's artwork are oftenly filled with cheerful & joyful flora & fauna, little girl with lovely animals like squirrels, deers, puppies, kittens & rabbits & pastel tone. She used to swipe a brush on pencil strokes to create a soft touch, which is a good idea & i am gonna try it tonight!  |
